Bassiste à la carrière exceptionnelle puisqu'il a joué entre autre avec
King Crimson , Peter Gabriel , Yes , Liquid Tension experiment ,
Pink Floyd , John Lennon , Joan Armatrading , Paul Simon ....
Tony Levin  fait preuve d'un grand esprit d'innovation en popularisant des
instruments tels que le " Chapman Stick ", ou les Funk Fingers qu'il a créés.
Il fait également partie d'un groupe de jazz fusion, Bruford Levin Upper Extremities ,
aux côtés du batteur Bill Bruford ( Yes , King Crimson ),
du guitariste  David Torn  et du trompettiste  Chris Botti .

" Levin Torn White " c'est la collaboration de trois musiciens légendaires de rock progressif : Tony Levin (basse, Chapman Stick), David Torn (guitare) et Alan White de Yes (batterie).
" Levin Torn White " plaira à coup sûr à ceux qui apprécient  King Crimson . Le disque a
été nommé «Album n ° 1 de 2011» et «Top 10 des albums de 2011» par de nombreuses publications. Le projet a été enregistré à Seattle, WA, Woodstock, NY et Nouvelle-Zélande.

Fantastique album instrumental rock progressif  / jazz fusion, varié et teinté d'une bonne
dose de folie, mené par trois pointures du genre j'ai nommé : Tony  Levin ( Peter Gabriel,
King Crimson ), Marco  Minnemann ( Steven Wilson, Joe Satriani, the Aristocrats ) ,
Jordan  Rudess ( Dream Theater ) musiciens surtout connus pour leurs rôles au sommet
de la hiérarchie progressive, appliquant à leur musique une telle créativité, aux mélodies
faites de groove imparable et de rythmes complexes. Marco  Minnemann  mettant
en valeur ses talents de batteur, avec ses rythmes saisissants et ses accents créatifs,
officiant également à la guitare. Jordan  Rudess  n'est pas en reste, ajoutant à leur
musique une touche magique avec ses claviers, Tony  Levin  grand maître du chapman
stick est incroyable, fournissant un funk structuré de grande classe. Inutile de dire que
je recommande fortement cet album, " From The Law Offices Of " méritant une place
de choix au sein de toute discographie progressive ou jazz .
