U S A  -  rock progressif -  ****

 


Le duo  Sepand Samzadeh / Oscar  Fuentes  Bills  à vraiment fait très fort
avec ce superbe deuxième album, ils s'offrent pour l'occasion les services
de quelques légendes du monde progressif : Colin Moulding ( XTC ),
Rick Wakeman ( Yes ), Peter Banks ( Yes / Flash ) Tony Levin
( King Crimson / Peter Gabriel ) et  Billy Sherwood ( Yes / Circa ).
Voilà un album indispensable à tout amateur éclairé qui se respecte,
du grand progressif symphonique, les influences allant de  Glass Hammer
( pour la touche américaine ) au  Genesis  de " Duke " en passant par le
Marillion  de Hogarth , Pink Floyd ,... à noter l'utilisation d'instruments pas
très communs dans le rock progressif, exemple le dobro sur "Visionary",
le tar ( sorte de luth iranien) sur "Eggshell Man", la trompette sur
"Visionary" et sur "In Extremis" le morceau titre.
Du grand art, un album majeur de 2013 !
