Angleterre / Suede -  rock progressif  -  ***

The Tangent  fusionne un rock progressif d'influences 70's et Canterbury,
( Caravan , Soft machine , Gong ,..) et plus actuel comme celui par
exemple des suédois de  The flower Kings . Un groupe à géométrie
variable composé autour de  Andy  Tillison , avec pour les premiers
albums  Roine  Stolt , Jonas  Reingold , Zoltan  Cròrsz ( Flower Kings ),
Guy  Manning ( Parallel or 90° ) , Sam  Baine ,
David  Jackson ( VDGG ) , Theo  Travis , pour un méga-projet
scindé en 4 parties , qui nous plonge dans les années 70’s, ouverture
Yessiènne, cuivres, introduction pianistique, sections jazz, séquences
jazz-rock, passages free-jazz, la basse de  Jonas Reingold  donne
un rythme de folie, avec un  Roine Stolt , aux guitares ( et au chant parfois )
toujours aussi sublime, un excellent projet à l'arrivée !
2004, la suite, toujours aussi excellent !!!
2006, exit  Roine Stolt  et bienvenue mister  Krister Jonsson ( Karmakanic )
2009, le groupe à géométrie variable est de retour, autour de son leader
Andy  Tillison , avec encore un album exceptionnel qui devrait sans
peine se hisser au niveau des œuvres majeures du genre !!!
