Thieve's Kitchen propose un rock progressif ambitieux,
leur musique est un mélange de néo-prog, hard rock, métal et fusion,
à rapprocher de l’esprit d’un Yes (complexe et mélodique,
plus jazzy à la Nathan Mahl ), mais avec sa propre personnalité.
On peut penser tour à tour à Dream Theater , E L P, Gentle Giant ,
Happy The Man , Kansas , King Crimson , V D G G ...
Thieve's Kitchen suscite l’enthousiasme grâce aux très nombreux
dialogues guitares-claviers, ceux-ci ont le temps de se développer puisque
les morceaux sont assez longs, le son est plein, avec sa rythmique riche,
ses claviers omniprésents et des guitares toujours en éveil.
