Magellan , fondé en 1984 par les frères  Trent et Wayne Gardner ,
a souvent revendiqué son héritage issu des années 70, notamment celui
dû à des groupes aussi différents que  Kansas , E L P , Jethro Tull ,
Rush , Yes  et  Genesis , mais avec une puissance et un son plus actuels
et agrémenté d'éléments metal. Du hard progressif, symphonique, dense
et grandiloquent, avec orchestration grandiose, pompeuse, wagnerienne
et riffs nerveux de guitares " hardeuses ", claviers grandiloquents,
la symbiose parfaite du heavy-métal et du rock symphonique.
Un must dans le genre !!!!
