U S A  -  pop-rock progressif   -  **

 
3RDegree  est né au début des 90's de la rencontre du bassiste, claviériste et
chanteur  Robert James Pashman  et du batteur  Rob Durham  tous deux
amateurs de rock progressif. Le guitariste  Pat Kliesch  vient compléter le groupe.
Ils sortent en 1993, un premier album " The World In Which We Live ".
Pour " Human Interest Story " (1996 ) ils sont rejoints par le chanteur
George Dobbs  qui joue également des claviers et de la basse. Après une longue separation le groupe se retrouve en 2005. Ils donnent quelques concerts,
Internet leurs permet de faire leur promotion, encouragés, ils sortent en 2008
" Narrow-Caster ". Malgré leur attirance pour le rock progressif leur musique en
est tout de même assez éloignée, les voix y sont très présentes, les mélodies
sont accrocheuses, une musique à la base assez dépouillée,
aux arrangements tant claviers que guitares assez légers.
Un agréable pop-rock progressif, mélange de  Beatles , Yes , E L O  et  Toto !
