The War on Drugs  est un groupe de rock américain, originaire de Philadelphie, en Pennsylvanie, formé en 2005. En 2014, le groupe avait épaté tout le monde
avec leur quatrième album " Lost In The Dream " qui a figuré dans pas mal de
tops de fin d’année 2014. Même amputé d’un membre exceptionnel ( Kurt Vile )
Adam Granduciel  et ses compères ont fait adorer le rock à tendance des années 1980 avec leurs compositions rêveuses et intemporelles convoquant aussi bien
Bob Dylan  que  Bruce Springsteen  en passant par  Neil Young  et
Townes van Zandt . Vous pensez que " Lost In The Dream " n’était pas assez ?
Voilà que le groupe renchérit avec " A Deeper Understanding ",
premier album signé sur la major Atlantic Records.
