Sufjan Stevens  (né le 1^er juillet 1975 à Détroit dans le Michigan) est un auteur-compositeur-interprète américain. Il est connu pour ses chansons
qui portent autant attention aux textes qu'à l'instrumentation. Il joue de plusieurs instruments différents, avec une préférence pour le banjo.
Il est aujourd'hui un des artistes américains les plus prolifiques et
connaît un grand succès critique aux États-Unis.
