Small Faces  ou  The Small Faces  est un groupe de rock britannique fondé
à Londres en 1965 qui s'est séparé en 1969. Mené par ses deux leaders,
Steve Marriott  ( futur Humble Pie ) et  Ronnie Lane , des passionnés de
rythm’n blues, il a été, avec les  Who  et les  Kinks , l’emblème du
mouvement musical et social londonien des  Mods , mais ils n’ont pas eu beaucoup de chance et la popularité s’est longtemps montré injuste à leur
égard. Ce grand groupe, avec son rhythm'n'blues teigneux du début et son psychédélisme pastoral de la fin, dont l’âge d’or n’aura duré que quelques
années, fut l’un des principaux oubliés du rock Outre-Manche des années 60.
