Ancien membre du groupe prog-folk anglais  The Morrigan ,
Colin Masson  est un multi-instrumentiste ( basse, claviers, percussions, trombone, flûte,...) qui met particulièrement l'accent sur les guitares,
à la fois acoustique et électrique. Sur ce premier album sa musique est
constituée de sons riches qui naviguent quelque part entre prog symphonique
et new age avec des intonations médiévales qui contrastent avec les puissantes guitares électriques. " Isle of Eight " est un album divisé en trois longs
morceaux, un peu dans la veine du " Tubular Bells " de  Mike Oldfield .
De belles compositions pleines d'émotions, aux thèmes accrocheurs et
mélodiques pour un opus très agréable dans l'ensemble !
