Ukraine  -  progressif symphonique  -  ***

Karfagen  nous vient d'Ukraine , sa musique développe des thèmes qui
invite au rêve, un espace presque totalement instrumental assez proche de
Vangelis , Mike Oldfield  ou  Anthony Phillips , un rock progressif très
mélodique avec une grande richesse au niveau des arrangements ou les
claviers sont en vedette, avec ici et là une belle flûte  Camelienne ,
voilà des albums hors du temps à la fois progressif, classique, jazz-rock,
planant, relaxant, parfois Canterbury ou celtique, agréable !
 Anthony Kalugin  nous démontre qu’il est un grand compositeur,
sachant s'entourer d'invités de qualité, ainsi que d'une instrumentation variée
pour colorer ses ambiances avec flûte, violon, violoncelle, hautbois, basson,
accordéon, saxophone, alto, mellotron, … pour nous offrir des œuvres
ambitieuses, rafraîchissantes et splendides.
