U S A  -  rock atmosphérique  -  ***

Formé en 1996, Dredg  est un groupe de rock atmosphérique originaire
de Los Lagos en Californie. Leur musique planante, ambiante et
entraînante à la fois provoque une mélancolie d'une originalité rare,
ces américains ont une approche musicale assez singulière, leur musique
mêle progressif, art-rock, métal ou jazz-rock, un groupe difficile à
comparer, difficile à décrire, il y a à la fois du  Tool , Radiohead ,
King Crimson , Porcupine Tree ,.. avec une superbe capacité à créer
des morceaux subtiles, forts, mélodieux, tantôt mélancoliques, tantôt
énergiques, avec un chanteur à la voix divine, un rien mélancolique.
Une formation qui se démarquer largement des autres groupes !
