contribué à forger si ce n'est créer, n'a cependant jamais oublié de faire
la part belle aux volubiles parties d’orgue Hammond.
“ Machine Head ” un des albums majeurs de la discographie,
avec le titre mythique "Smoke On The Water",
sans doute le plus fameux riff de l’histoire du rock,
par la suite, la légende  Deep Purple  évoluera
en fonction des changements de personnel et d’époque.
