Cross  est un groupe à géométrie variable, le trio de base est épaulé par
un nombre important d'invités variant d'un album à l'autre. Le genre
musical est clairement affiché dès les premières notes, nous avons affaire
à du néo-progressif symphonique de bonne facture aux climats lents et
nostalgiques, dont les influences sont concentrées autour de  Genesis  et
de  Steve Hackett  mais aussi  Pendragon  ou encore  Anekdoten  et
 Landberk  en moins tourmenté, plus mélodique, ainsi que du  Galleon  légèrement emphatique et symphonique. Voilà un groupe inattendu et
savoureux qui va ravir les amateurs de progressif classique.
