~ BRAND X ~

Brand X est un groupe de Jazz fusion formé en 1975 en Angleterre, séparé en 1980
puis reformé en 1992. Ses membres les plus illustres incluent Robin Lumley aux claviers,
John Goodsall à la guitare, Percy Jones à la basse et Phil Collins à la batterie.
Goodsall et Jones sont restés les deux membres constants dans l'histoire du groupe.
En 2016, Brand X est toujours en activité avec, outre Goodsall et Jones , le batteur
Kenwood Dennard , Chris Clark aux claviers et Scott Weinberger aux percussions.
Brand X propose une musique faite de fusion progressive jazz-rock, blues, et musique
expérimentale. On distingue plusieurs formations, celle des 70's avec Phil Collins
( batterie ), John Goodsall ( guitare ), Rolin Lumley ( claviers ), Percy Jones ( basse ),
ou celle des 90's, avec Goodsall , Jones , Katz , Pusch , Moerlen , toutes composées de musiciens virtuoses, talentueux, inspirés, et techniques, qui surprennent à chaque instants
en dépassant largement le format du jazz-rock.
