~ Anubis ~

Anubis nous propose un splendide premier concept album basé sur le thème de la disparition
prématurée d’un être cher. Pour ce premier opus le groupe fait preuve d'une grande maturité,
avec son ambiance très néo-progressif du début des 90's, agrémenté également de touches
folk acoustique, électro, world, paysages expérimentaux et lyriques, un album au son soigné,
avec de belles mélodies entrecoupées d'envolées instrumentales au fort pouvoir émotionnel,
mené par des guitares enjouées avec leurs riffs accrocheurs, et d'autres acoustiques à la
Pendragon , le tout flanqué d'un chanteur bien en place. A noter les deux superbes et
longues pièces qui terminent l'album. L’influence majeure de la musique d' Anubis est à
rapprochée du grand Pink Floyd , on pense également à Pendragon , I Q , Violet District
et Marillion avec de superbes soli de guitare façon Steve Rothery .
